Trinitarian ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by Globiq Media Technologies Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you use the Trinitarian mobile application and related services.

By using Trinitarian, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

Pastors who choose to broadcast a live stream grant Trinitarian access to their device's camera and microphone for the duration of the broadcast. This audio and video is transmitted in real time to viewers through our live streaming provider (see Section 10) and is not recorded or stored by Trinitarian unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of broadcast. Listeners viewing a live stream do not have their camera or microphone accessed.

If a pastor subscribes to Trinitarian Pro, payment is handled entirely by our payment processor, Paystack. Trinitarian does not receive, process or store your full card details, bank account numbers or other sensitive payment credentials. We only receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, and basic billing status (such as whether a subscription is active). Listeners never make payments and this section does not apply to them.

4. Advertising and Cookies

Trinitarian is free for listeners to use and is supported in part by advertising. On our website, this is served through Google AdSense. Our mobile app also displays advertising through Google AdMob.

Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior activity, and to measure ad performance. You can manage your ad personalisation settings at google.com/settings/ads (for the website) or in your Android device settings under Google, Ads (for the mobile app).

Trinitarian Pro subscribers (pastors) do not see advertisements.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Railway cloud infrastructure. Media files are stored on Backblaze B2. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, your personally identifying information (name, email, username, profile photo and bio) is immediately and permanently anonymised. Any remaining anonymised account data and content (such as comments or sermon history) that is retained solely for content integrity purposes will be permanently deleted within 90 days of your account deletion request. No personally identifying information will be retained beyond this period, except where required by law.

Sermon content uploaded by pastors will be retained according to the content licence agreement unless the pastor requests removal.

Live stream broadcasts are not recorded or retained by Trinitarian. Records of who watched a live stream (for viewer count purposes) are retained for the same period as other usage data described above.

Billing and subscription records for Trinitarian Pro are retained for as long as required by Paystack and applicable financial recordkeeping laws, independently of your Trinitarian account status.

8. Children's Privacy

Trinitarian is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at support@trinitarian.app and we will delete it.

9. Content and Copyright

All sermon content uploaded to Trinitarian remains the intellectual property of the uploading pastor. By uploading content, pastors grant Trinitarian a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to stream, display and distribute the content on the platform.

All content is protected under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). To report copyright infringement, contact dmca@trinitarian.app

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email to your registered address. Continued use of Trinitarian after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
